Preserving the Spark of the Seacoast: Meet Colin Hebert of CJH Electrical

Owning a piece of New England history here in the Seacoast area, whether it is a charming pre-1900s home in Portsmouth, an antique cottage in Exeter, or a coastal classic in Rye, comes with immense pride and perhaps a few quiet worries. We have all experienced it: the flickering lights from aging knob and tube wiring, the outlets that never seem to be where you need them, or that nagging fear of an electrical issue disrupting your home's irreplaceable character during a winter storm or a holiday gathering.

Knob and Tube Electrician New Hampshire

As homeowners, we want modern safety and efficiency, but we do not want to tear into precious plaster walls or lose the original details that make our houses feel like home. That is exactly where Colin Hebert comes in. A Master Electrician and the heart behind CJH Electrical, Colin has a lifelong love for the historic architecture found throughout Hampton, North Hampton, and Greenland. He founded his family-owned business to bring thoughtful, preservation-first electrical solutions to homes that deserve both safety and soul.

At 603 Home Pro, we are so excited to introduce the local faces making our Seacoast communities safer and more beautiful, one careful upgrade at a time.

A Journey Rooted in Craft and Family

Colin Hebert did not just choose a trade, he followed a calling. Growing up surrounded by the centuries-old craftsmanship of the Seacoast, Colin developed a genuine fascination with how these homes were built. After earning his Master Electrician license and managing large commercial projects, he realized his true passion was not in cold office buildings, it was in breathing modern life into the antique gems of Stratham and New Castle.

In 2018, Colin founded CJH Electrical as a father-son operation alongside his dad, Carl "CJ" Hebert. A retired U.S. Army medic and former VA counselor, CJ brings a sense of calm and care to every job site as Colin's first and favorite apprentice. Together, they have built a business licensed in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont that is centered on one guiding principle: treat every old home with the reverence it deserves.
